Sewellia lineolata

Sevilla lineolata (pseudoskat) is an aquarium fish with an interesting appearance. It belongs to the sucker catfish, needs an aquarium with a lot of algae. It is also known under such names as mesh, tiger or Vietnamese loach.
Sevilla (pseudoskat) will feel comfortable in a small school of 3-5 individuals. For such a group, you will need to select an aquarium designed for about 10-15 liters per fish.

The following conditions are important for maintenance:

Constant aeration and water filtration. The aquarium should have clean, transparent water with a minimum amount of organic matter. It is necessary to install a filter and a high-performance compressor.
Water temperature + 22-27 ° C. Bright lighting is required for algae to grow abundantly.
Decorative elements in the aquarium. Driftwood, stones, shelters abundantly covered with algae, as well as plants such as moss, ferns, anubias will recreate the natural habitat. It is better if the aquarium is spacious, the larger the bottom area, the more fish of this species can be kept together.
